Ø Inexpensive:
Approximately 70% less expensive than the most common automotive polyolefin adhesion
promotion process ($0.03 to $0.20 per square foot depending on the
application). Ø Permanent: Paint or coating adhesion is permanent;
treated parts can also be stored in the dark indefinitely prior to being
painted, laminated, glued or caulked. Ø Versatile: Subsequent surface
chemistries allow the chemical bonding of a nearly endless variety of chemical
and polymer components. Ø Environmentally Friendly:
Water-born process that effectively replaces current hazardous adhesion
promoters. Ø Simple: Initial surface enhancement is a continuous or
batch single step process. Ø Fast: Initial surface enhancement can
be achieved at current production speeds. Ø Effective: Effective on all polyolefins
including polyethylene.
