Beholztech, Inc. has developed an environmentally sustainable surface treatment process for polyolefin plastics such polypropylene & polyethylene that will turn these non-adhesive plastics into adhesive materials that you can glue, paint or stick things to. This will increase the number of applications for these plastics and allow them to replace more expensive plastics that have been engineered to be adhesive. Today, inexpensive polyolefin plastics cannot be easily painted, coated, laminated, printed or bonded. Manufacturers must either purchase costly high-end formulated plastics (requiring inefficient handling of many different plastics) or use expensive, problematic and hazardous adhesion promoting processes or chemicals. To address this serious and widespread problem, Beholztech, Inc. has developed an innovative water-born process that permanently modifies the surface of polyolefin plastics so that they can be painted, laminated, glued, caulked, coated or further modified chemically. The process is simple, inexpensive and environmentally friendly.
